There are currently no live music events at the Quarterhouse due to Covid-19. We hope to be able to bring you some of the best music acts in the Lancaster district very soon!

We have a thriving live music scene here in Lancaster and we’re proud to support many local acts through our live music events.

Held (more or less!) every other Sunday, we showcase bands and solo artists from the Lancaster area in our window booth. Our acts for 2020 are listed here - the list is updated as we book new artists so please check back regularly to find out who we’ve got coming up in the next few weeks.

Sunday music events start at 16:00.

sunday 19 JAnuary - Sidley park

Bursting onto Lancaster’s music scene with their broad-ranging and polished performances, Sidley Park are a 6-piece power-pop, rock and indie band with folk and country influences.

sunday 26 January - Gabriel Tonelli and friends

Hailing from Brazil, Gabriel is a talented guitarist and vocalist, performing his own take on popular songs in what is always an entertaining performance. A regular performer at many of Lancaster’s open mics, he is invariably joined by a host of musician friends for a lively yet relaxed sound.

sunday 16 February - glyn shipman

Glyn is one of the north-west’s best-kept secrets. A talented lyricist, he combines elegant songcraft with a gentle wit delivered with natural charm.

He plays regularly at folk clubs around the area and is a popular performer at Lancaster Live.

SUNDAY 08 MARCH - DARA WOODS

A favourite on Lancaster’s music scene, Dara is a talented solo acoustic guitarist from Ireland, blending Indie, folk and traditional Irish influences. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon!
